A family septic and grease trap company built for the search that happens at the worst moment

Affordable Septic Pumping is a family owned septic and grease trap services company in Westminster, Colorado. The site serves two completely different buyers, homeowners on a schedule or in an emergency, and commercial kitchens on a compliance cycle, without splitting into two sites.

Septic work has two customers who share nothing. A homeowner searches once every few years, usually urgently, and wants reassurance and a price. A restaurant manager searches on a compliance schedule and wants reliability, documentation and a route that shows up. A site built for one loses the other.

    The brief

What the engagement had to deliver

Affordable Septic Pumping came to us with a clear set of outcomes rather than a page count. Everything below was agreed before design started.

    • Rebuild the site for a family owned septic and grease trap company
    • Serve residential and commercial buyers without building two sites
    • Win local search across a service area, not just the home city
    • Build server-rendered from a verified blank scaffold

    Key challenges

What made this build harder than a template

    • Two buyers with opposite urgency, opposite vocabulary and opposite decision criteria
    • Grease trap compliance work is a genuinely different sale from residential pumping and needs its own language
    • The category is price-sensitive, and the brand name leads with price, which has to be handled without undercutting perceived quality
    • Service area coverage without producing thin near-duplicate city pages

    Our approach

    How we built it

The navigation splits residential and commercial early, because those two visitors want different things in the first five seconds. Residential content leads with what happens, how often it is needed, and what it costs, because that is the actual question. Commercial content leads with schedule reliability and documentation, because a restaurant manager is buying against an inspection, not against a price. The name leads with affordability, so the site works to pair that with evidence of care rather than letting cheap stand alone. Everything is server-rendered so both content sets are fully indexable.

    What changed

    • Two unrelated buyers served from one site without either being compromised
    • Commercial compliance work given its own language rather than sharing residential copy
    • Affordability positioning paired with evidence rather than standing alone
    • Service area coverage that expands reach without internal competition

    Common questions

Questions about the Affordable Septic Pumping build

How often does a residential septic tank need pumping?

It depends on tank size and household usage, which is exactly why the question is the most common one a septic company receives and exactly why it belongs on the site rather than on a phone call.

Why do grease trap customers need different content from homeowners?

Because they are buying against an inspection rather than against a problem. A restaurant needs a provider who shows up on schedule and documents the service. A homeowner needs to know what is happening and what it costs.

Can one site serve both residential and commercial trade customers?

Yes, if the paths split early in the navigation. What does not work is one blended set of content trying to speak to both, because it ends up specific to neither.
