Metal Fabrication
Roseworks Fabrication
A fabrication shop presented with the same care as the work coming off the floor

Roseworks Fabrication needed a site that treated custom metalwork as craft rather than as a commodity trade listing. It was built on the same design foundation as Blinds Couture, which let a proven premium system carry a second trade brand without starting over.
Custom fabrication competes against directory listings and template sites that make every shop look interchangeable. When the differentiator is craft, and the presentation is a stock template with a contact form, the differentiator never reaches the buyer.
The brief
What the engagement had to deliver
Roseworks Fabrication came to us with a clear set of outcomes rather than a page count. Everything below was agreed before design started.
- Present custom fabrication as craft rather than as a commodity service
- Reuse a proven premium design foundation rather than starting from a blank page
- Build server-rendered so the shop is findable for the specific work it does
- Give the shop a site that matches the standard of its output
Key challenges
What made this build harder than a template
- Trade sites are usually judged against other trade sites, so the visual bar the client had seen was set far too low
- Fabrication work photographs inconsistently, so the layout has to flatter real shop photography rather than assume studio imagery
- The buyer is often technical and wants specifics, while the referrer wants reassurance, and both land on the same page
- Adapting an existing design system to a new brand risks producing a recolored copy rather than a distinct identity
Our approach
How we built it
We started from the Blinds Couture design foundation deliberately, because a proven premium system for a trade business is worth more than a novel one. The adaptation focused on where the two brands genuinely differ rather than recoloring everything. The layout was built around real shop photography rather than assuming ideal images, with generous framing that flatters inconsistent source material. Server-side rendering on Cloudflare Workers means the specific fabrication capabilities are indexable individually rather than buried in one services page.

- Individual capabilities indexable rather than collapsed into a single services page
- A site that supports a referral conversation instead of undermining it
Common questions
Questions about the Roseworks Fabrication build
Why do trade and fabrication websites usually look the same?
Because most are built from the same small set of industry templates, which were designed to be filled in quickly rather than to differentiate. The result is a category where the best shop and the worst shop present identically.
Can a design system built for one business be reused for another?
The foundation can, and reusing a proven premium system is usually better than starting blank. The work is in identifying where the two brands genuinely differ and changing those things rather than recoloring everything and calling it new.
How should a fabrication shop structure its services for search?
As individually addressable capabilities rather than one services page listing everything. Buyers search for the specific process they need, and a single page mentioning twelve capabilities ranks for none of them well.

Window Coverings
Blinds Couture
Blinds Couture came to us for a website. What shipped was a full operating system for a custom window covering business: a trade CRM, a deals pipeline, a booking engine with live availability, warranty claims, estimate-to-invoice approval, vendor document tracking, and two AI assistants, all sharing one database with the public site.
Underground Utilities
Denver Sewer and Water
Denver Sewer and Water is a privately owned family underground line company in Denver. It is not affiliated with Denver Water or the City and County of Denver, and a large part of the site's job is making that clear while still winning the searches those names dominate.
Aerospace
Super Universal
Super Universal moved off Duda onto an owned platform with substantially more depth than the original. The rebuild expanded a small brochure site into a properly structured set of capability pages designed to be found by the specific technical searches the business should be winning.
